AIR 154 - Heating Systems I 3 credits Introduces types of fuels and their characteristics of combustion; types, components and characteristics of burners, and burner efficiency analyzers. Studies forced air heating systems including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and servicing. Part I of II. Lecture: 2 hours. Laboratory: 2 hours. Total: 4 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
