NSG 210 - Health Care Concepts I 5 credits Focuses on care of clients across the lifespan in multiple settings including concepts related to physiological health alterations and reproduction. Emphasizes the nursing process in the development of clinical judgment for clients with multiple needs. Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing laboratories, clinical/community settings, and/or simulated environments. Part I of II. Lecture: 3 hours. Laboratory: 6 hours. Total 9 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
Prerequisite(s): NSG 152 or (NSG 115 ), NSG 170 or NSG 200 and BIO 150 .
