WEL 160 - Gas Metal Arc Welding

Introduces semi-automatic welding processes with emphasis on practical application. Includes the study of filler wires, fluxes and gases Lecture: 2 hours. Laboratory: 3 hours. Total: 5 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.

Prerequisite(s): Pre- or Co-requisites: SAF 130 and WEL 150.
