WEL 244 - Weld Testing and Codes

2 credits
Covers non-destructive (NDT) weld testing and how it plays a critical role in assuring that structural components and materials meet specified requirements. Examines how and why these NDT processes are used and will use them to test welds and weldments. Lecture: 1 hour. Laboratory: 3 hours. Total: 4 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.

Prerequisite(s): Pre- or Co-requisites: SAF 130 .
