MEC 295 - Alternative Energy Systems Design


3 credits
Design of alternative energy systems utilized for power or heat generation. Includes analysis of solar, wind, and geothermal systems, and incorporates laboratory demonstrations and experiments. Emphasizes system components, construction, materials, and manufacturing processes. Lecture: 2 hours per week. Laboratory: 2 hours per week. Total: 4 hours per week.

Prerequisite(s): CAD 241 ELE 159 ENE 100 ENE 104 .
