Studies etiology, symptoms, prescribed treatment, and experiences in the nursing care of patients with selected disorders. Selects learning experiences to correlate related patient care with classroom instruction whenever possible. Provides observational experiences when available. Lecture: 3 hours. Laboratory: 3 hours. Total: 6 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
