HIS 183 - Survey of Museum Practice

Explores the role of the museum in society and traces the foundations upon which these public, cultural and education al institutions are built. Emphasizes the management and interpretation of historic properties and collections. Credit will not be awarded for both. This course is cross-listed with ART 184. Lecture: 3 hours per week.
