ART 195 - Museum Studies: Museums and Digital Content 1 credit This course will explore the ways in which the museum industry has leveraged the virtual realm of programming to enhance the visitor experience, promote learning and expand the institution’s reach to a wider and more diverse audience. Through discussion with peers, supplemental readings and assignments the students will investigate the proliferation of digital content today and its impact on the museum experience. Lecture: 1 hour per week.
