NSG 230 - Advanced Professional Nursing Concepts

2 credits
Develops the role of the professional nurse in the healthcare environment in preparation for practice as a registered nurse. Introduces leadership and management concepts and focuses on the integration of professional behaviors in a variety of healthcare settings. Lecture: 2 hours. Total: 2 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.

Prerequisite(s): NSG 210  and NSG 211 .
