ENE 100 - Conventional and Alternate Energy Applications


4 credits
Provides an overview of hydroelectric, coal, and nuclear energy production methods and renewable solar, geothermal, wind, and fuel cell technology. A complete system breakdown of conventional power production methods, efficiency, and sustainability when compared with solar. Lecture: 3 hours per week. Laboratory: 3 hours per week. Total: 6 hours per week.

Prerequisite(s): ELE 176  or instructor approval.
