Teaches fundamental laboratory operations, measuring tools, and safety. Provides for statistical evaluation of data and communication of laboratory results. Includes experiments and/or demonstrations. Lecture: 1 hour per week. Laboratory: 2 hours per week. Total: 3 hours per week.
